Retail of Alcohol Standards Group - published guidance

The Retail of Alcohol Standards Group recently published its guidance on the responsible retailing of alcohol in England and Wales.

By way of background, RASG developed the Challenge 25 age verification scheme and created Community Alcohol Partnerships. and the new guidance was the result of collaboration between numerous retailers. It seeks to outline legal obligations, self-regulatory measures and those voluntary measures adopted by members within numerous areas relevant to retailing alcohol, such as age restricted sales, pricing and alcohol promotions amongst others.
